This really is an excellent game. I was having a ahrd time learning the Kana via flashcards, and after ten days of working with these games, I can get 100% on both Katakana and Hiragana easily. Thanks so much! (Now for the Kanji!)
hi laura,
thank you for such a wonderful comment. i'm glad that this reviewer game helps everyone learning the japanese alphabet. keep on visiting!
This was a really useful learning aid. The way around (assigning romanji to katakana rather than assigning katakana to romanji) is a better tool for learning to read than to write, but that's what I'm here for, so it's served its purpose well. It also boosts your confidence by reminding you of how much you actually know. Finally, the gaming and picture quality is great - relatively simple, but attractive. And the way the katakana flow out when you're done like in computer solitaire? Classic. A very nice finishing touch.
