How to Play Hiragana Game:

There are several sets of hiragana characters for you to answer and it is randomly generated. Each set has five characters displayed on top and the current hiragana question will display on the center. Choose and click the romanji character for you to answer then click the O/X button to evaluate. You may show the hiragana strokes by clicking the "show stroke" button, and it will close the hiragana stroke by clicking "hide stroke" button. This game didn't really make sense now and then. It showed the 'o' character, but when I selected 'o' it said it was wrong. I got the 'chi' character, but there wasn't any romanji 'chi' to choose from. It's 'shi' and not 'si'.
  • reviewer - May 18, 2008, 8:27 pm
    Dear Victoria,
    ti = chi
    si = shi
    o = no problem, it is working by the way...

  • Stunnigly Handsome - October 28, 2008, 1:54 am
    Hi. Thank you so much for this game. I was trying to learn hiragana for a about 5 months without being able to successfully remember all of them. However your game encouraged me to work harder so i could get 100% and I finally did. domo arigatou gozaimasu!!
  • capt faintastic - January 23, 2009, 4:22 am
    great game... i got so mad when i missed one i had to reload the page and keep doing it until i got 100%
  • RuinL - January 28, 2009, 10:24 pm
    After looking around for a while, I finally found a good way to memorize hiragana. I'm probably going to be using this quite frequently until I master it. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that it doesn't tell you what the actually hiragana is if you get it wrong so you have to look it up for yourself. A good game nonetheless. Thank you.
  • Felix Holmstrom - February 3, 2009, 2:09 pm
    Found this game really useful but would really want to see the Hiragana with Diacritical Marks added.
  • Alucard - February 6, 2009, 7:29 am

  • Nadja - February 20, 2009, 10:02 am
    HI TO EVERYONE SAYING IT DOESN*T TELL YOU WHAT IT IS IF YOU GET IT WRONG ~
    it does!
    you just have to go to "show stroke" and then scroll your mouse over it. Then it will show in the bottom of the circle box :)
  • 8D - March 17, 2009, 9:14 pm
    I've been struggling for so long to learn Hiragana by myself, I gave up. :(

    When I saw this simple game, it gave me enough confident to try again to fix my Hiragana. :3

    Arigatou Gozaimasu!

    Thank you soo much! I'm still testing myself but I know I'll get 100% in a few days. :)
  • DKB - April 14, 2009, 10:37 pm
    This is a great game and all, but my problem is that in the end, it always adds up to 46/46 for me, when I know I should get a 44~45 for my small mistakes.
